OpsMailmanager version 1.1 released: major new email management features for Alfresco ECM

This release extends OpsMailmanager to make it even easier to file email messages into Alfresco's ECM repository, and improve information management across organisations.

OpsMailmanager is the only Open Source email management product that integrates emails into overall document storage, search and retrieval, by automating the filing and classification of email messages, and their attachments, from Outlook, Lotus Notes or other email clients, into Alfresco ECM.

  • Attachment Manager - automatically extracts attachments so that they can be stored separately, while retaining the information about what message they were attached to
  • Duplicate email management - never store the same email twice
  • Auto-subscribe management - no need to subscribe to folders to see them from your email client
  • Alfresco version 3 support
  • Multibyte support - use languages such as Arabic, Greek and Russian
  • Performance improvements - Lucene search framework speeds indexing and search
