Opsera and Reductive Labs announce strategic partnership

Opsera and Reductive Labs have entered a strategic partnership to deliver professional services in the UK and Western Europe. Opsera will deliver training, support and consulting services for Puppet and Facter products.

Reductive Labs enables IT organisations to provide more consistency, more flexibility, more predictability and more transparency while lowering the cost of service through using their technologies.

Puppet, Reductive Lab's flagship product, is an Open Source software tool for automating system administration across the network at scale. It can be used to manage the configuration of Unix-like systems and consists of a custom declarative language to describe system configuration, a distribution mechanism and a library to realise the configuration. Facter, Reductive Lab's analysis tool, is used for reporting system configuration and status and to parameterise Puppet configurations.

Opsera are specialists in IT infrastructure management using Open Source technologies including Puppet and Opsview, the award winning Open Source system monitoring tool.
